At one time this was Monty's gauge flute for sizing up others. The initial cost was $3500, but it was sold for $3200 because of a couple cracks that had appeared before selling it. It was fixed and then sold so there's never been a problem. The bamboo is very nice and it has a nice mellower tone for this kind of flute. Of course, it's in tune and very well balanced.
